GETTING HELP

If you are in immediate danger, please call 911.

It is best to call from a land line if possible as the 911 operator will have access to you address and phone number if you are disconnected. Not all cell phones or internet phones are compatible with 911 services. As such, you may have to provide your address and phone number when calling. Be aware that internet-based phone service may not be compatible with 911 services.

Call your local hotline. The crisis lines are staffed 24 hours a day, so there is always someone to talk to at these phone numbers.

Call a national hotline:
National Domestic Violence Hotline: 1-800-799-7233 (SAFE)
National Sexual Assault Hotline: 1-800-656-4673
National Teen Dating Violence Helpline: 1-866-331-9474
